Leadership Training for Christ (LTC) is a program designed to help our young people grow in their faith while developing leadership, teaching skills, and confidence in serving Jesus. Through a variety of activities—such as drama, puppets, song leading, Scripture reading, Bible quiz, sermon delivery, sign language, and more—participants are encouraged to use their talents to honor God and serve others.
At Eastside, we truly view this event as a time of "training". Throughout the year, these kids will have opportunities to put into practice the skills they have learned during devotionals, classes, and events like Vacation Bible School. LTC is more than a one-time event, it is a time of training that allows these children to grow as servants of Jesus.
LTC takes place each year over Easter weekend, beginning Friday evening and continuing through Saturday, and offers opportunities for all levels of involvement. While the program is primarily designed for students in 3rd through 12th grade, there are also age-appropriate events available for children ages 3 years through 2nd grade, making it an experience the whole family can be part of.
Below are videos and photos from our recent LTC. We hope you enjoy looking through these photos and videos and seeing all the hard work, enjoyment, and excitement of these students and their instructors.
