Activities

Eastside is always busy with different activities here and there. When one is finished another one begins, and it's always a fun time. Below is a list of several activities and a description of that activity that Eastside is involved with, and if there are any pictures available for viewing you will be able to click on the titles of the activities.

Bible Presentations

All youth are presented a Bible before the congregation upon entering 1st grade and again upon graduation from high school.

Pew Packers

Pre-school through 3rd grade meet after Sunday evening worship for crafts, service projects, etc.

Notables

1st through 6th grade meet Friday evening for devotional, eats, and games. (January and February only)

Leadership Training for Christ (LTC)

3rd grade through senior high are involved in a number of activities such as writing songs or poetry, memorizing scripture, leading singing. teaching Bible lessons, performing service projects, and more. These year long activities culminate in an annul conference in Tulsa where achievements are displayed.

Summer Camp

4th grade through senior high attend summer camp for a week of Bible study, spiritual enrichment, and fun activities.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

We conduct our own VBS each summer for youth of all ages - junior and senior high also help plan and conduct VBSs for smaller congregations in Oklahoma, Colorado, Wyoming, etc.

Huddles

Junior and senior high meet monthly on Sunday evening after worship for devotional, eats, and fellowship.

Fall Retreat

Annual weekend event for junior and senior high. They get away from the their daily routine at a camp ground for Bible studies, Christian fellowship, and fun.

Senior Night

Annual Slide presentation and reception for graduating seniors after Sunday evening worship.

Holiday Banquet

Annual event around the first week of December where the congregation meets to have dinner and watch skits performed.
